Information for

School Support

Often, inadequate or inaccurate information results in young people not accessing appropriate support when it is needed. Early interventions rely on the ability to recognise when things are not quite right and being aware of how to access avenues for support and advice. headspace North-North West Tasmania has a set-up where schools can fill in a request form to seek help from our headspace community liaison officer. The Community Liaison Officer will visit the schools and give a talk on being party safe, bullying, relationships and the services available to the youth.

Community Organisations:

headspace wants to let young people know when, how and where in the community to seek help for mental health problem. So we undertake community awareness activities to help increase the knowledge of how to do so for young people, their friends, families and the broader community.

If you have a festival or event that you want headspace to attend, a newsletter we can contribute to, or want us to come and speak with your group/school please get in contact with us.
